he always offers to take you places. it doesnโt matter if itโs just to walk you home or to help you pick out some new clothes: he just wants to spend more time with you. he loves to hold your hand while you guys walk around, occasionally showing you some cool stuff he saw on the street or staying silent, just enjoying each otherโs company. and when you get home, he waits and watches you enter your house/apartment safely, and he only leaves when he is sure you are safe and well.

he likes to tease or annoy you sometimes, and you know itโs just a funny and comically affectionate way to show he loves you, but heโs always the first one to speak up if someone says โ or even implies โ something mean about you. one time, your friends were taking it too far with the teasing that it was making you uncomfortable and he sensed it immediately and shut them off with an almost nonchalant-sounding โwatch your words,โ and a serious look. and if it was a stranger, he has a way of telling them off while also remaining polite. so basically, no one can โbullyโ you except him.

he always walks on the outer side of the sidewalk when the two of you are walking side by side to keep you safe from the road. he puts his hand on your back as he continues to talk to you. heโs also in the habit of looking over his shoulder at you and trying to keep an eye on his surroundings when youโre together.

he tends to hold you at random times, like; intertwine his arm with yours while heโs on his phone, or let you put your leg on top of his when you sit next to each other, or hug you from behind while you do something. they are small and subtle gestures, but they give you a pure and genuine feeling of security, love and appreciation.

he always tries his best to protect your space when you are in crowded places. when youโre about to accidentally bump into someone, he grabs your waist quickly and pulls you against his chest while saying things like โbe careful, loveโ or โare you okay?โ. or when itโs too cold, heโll wrap you in a warm, comforting hug while gently rocking you sideways, occasionally placing a kiss on your forehead or caressing your back

he gives you his jacket or sweatshirt when youโre cold. sometimes you think he doesnโt notice, but he always does, and you donโt even need to say anything, he instinctively drapes the jacket over your shoulders protectively. and when you are wearing shorts or skirts/dresses and you have to sit down, he always gives you his sweater so you can cover your lap if you feel uncomfortable.

before you leave, he always reminds you to be careful and asks you to text or call him when you get wherever you go safely. itโs a way for him to know youโre safe and well. and if you need him, regardless of the reason or what time you are calling him, he would come to you in minutes, leaving anything aside just to come to you.
